Proposal for a new Harvard Bridge across the Charles River that commemorated the bicentennial anniversary of the founding of the Nation. Sponsored by the National Endowment for the Arts, the proposed bridge was intended to be viewed as cultural and social memorial that celebrates urban life in Boston/Cambridge.
